Newt desperately tries to block Eli out as he struggles with the effects of not taking his medication. Lauren's hurt by Newt's rejection but she's freaked out knowing Eli's back and wants to understand why. Newt finds it difficult to answer her questions with Eli constantly warning him against her but Lauren's not going to let it drop and Newt eventually blurts out that he's stopped taking his medication to be close to her.
Lauren encourages Newt to take his tablets but he's sad that she will never understand how they make him feel. Newt's angry when he finds out Lauren's told Anita about his schizophrenia and rushes round to the house to have it out with her. But he's completely unaware of the lengths Lauren's gone to, to try to understand how he feels – she's taken his medication…
Louise continues to plot her revenge against Warren as an oblivious Warren promises her a perfect day for their wedding. Mandy's shaken at being in such close proximity to Warren and is worried about going through with Louise's plan.
Louise puts pressure on her to continue and tells her she can't go through it without her and insists it's the only way they'll be able to get Warren out of their lives for good. Mandy has no other option but to help her out but little does she know that Louise is also plotting her revenge on her as she watches CCTV footage of Warren and Mandy kissing passionately in The Loft. Louise is also shocked when she rifles through the safe and finds a gun.
Carmel, Mike and Cindy hold X-Factor style auditions for the village nativity with Myra as their very own Sharon Osborne. Carmel's taking it all very seriously and is panicked at the thought of finding a Virgin Mary. Theresa and Holly audition for the part but Theresa's heckled off stage by a group of lads and Holly isn't sticking to the script. Carmel begins to despair that they'll never find anyone and when none of the judges can agree on a suitable candidate, Carmel announces that she's going to play the part of Mary herself.
Jacqui decides it's time to sort her life out and get some stability for her and Max and gets her job back in the salon. Tony feels guilty after rejecting her advances yesterday and offers to look after Max while she goes to see Ash. Tony's relieved when Calvin tells him he's a free man - all charges have been dropping against him. After getting her job back, Jacqui invites Tony for Christmas dinner but she doesn't stick around for an answer. Is there hope of a reconciliation?
